Bill Jones and Karrie Milligan first met one afternoon when she chased him home from elementary school.
Bill wore a red and blue rugby shirt and ducked into a neighbors house to play Lite-Brite… making things
with light.
Karrie wanted to be Olivia Newton John and liked cookies.
Nutter Butter, Oreo, Fig Newton, Chips Ah...oy… They
lost touch for a few years after that. Bill took guitar lessons
and Karrie got cavities. In high school, Bill traded in his
rugby shirt for a pea-coat and some harness boots. Karrie
wandered lost in the halls writing poetry when she should
have been reading Tom Sawyer.
They found each other again through mutual friends, and a
love of skipping class for coffee and doughnuts.
Today, after years of making music together and apart, in
and out of bands and dynamic duo situations, Karrie and
Bill are proud to call The Buckos their very own.
There is light, music, poetry and sweetness.
